We want to thank our Thursday afternoon knitting group for the very cute and functional hats and mittens that they have knit for folks at the Good Neighbor Clinic. According to Nathalie L. Hebert, MSN APRN-BC, the Nurse Practitioner and Operations Manager at the Good Neighbor Clinic, the “knit items donated from the knitting club are very popular. We put them up on our lobby clothes line and they are gone within a week.” The Good Neighbor Clinic can always use more knitted items such as hats, mittens, socks, and scarves. The knitting group meets every Wednesdays at 12:45 pm at Bugbee Senior Center, if you want to knit and socialize with a friendly group of knitters.
