On May 2, the Hartford Selectboard proclaimed May 2023 as Older Americans Month, joining Thetford in celebrating the contributions of older adults to our communities. We would like to thank the Town of Hartford for supporting its older citizens.
The T.D. Bugbee Building is a Town-owned facility, and their stewardship of the facility has allowed the Bugbee community to thrive. The senior center is operated by White River Council on Aging, and the partnership with the Town affords flexibility in providing a wide range of services and activities, and responding to changing needs among older adults over time. It helps make Hartford a great place to age in place, with many opportunities to keep engaged, involved, and to remain independent.
