We have some excellent activities on Mondays and Tuesdays for you to enjoy! Bridge games are every Monday at 10:00 am. Bridge is one of the world’s most popular card games. It is easy to learn, a great way to meet people, and to make friends. This classic card game tests your skills and strategies, plus it’s an excellent way to keep your mind sharp while having fun. Join us if you’re a beginner, or a seasoned player! No sign up needed.

Monday mornings we also have Tai Chi for Falls Prevention. The Beginner’s class starts at 9:30 and will continue to gradually add new moves, but always after reviewing what’s already been learned. An Advanced Forms class starts at 10:40 and continues to review and deepen Yang 24 Forms, and we’ll also start learning Yang Cane Form. The Cane becomes an extension of your movement. Learning how to move it and move with it is a most enjoyable challenge. Both groups welcome newcomers! $3 fee per class, no sign up required!

Every Tuesday at 2:00 pm, we connect online to enjoy presentations from the Senior Learning Network. These are interactive presentations, so you get a chance to ask questions as we tour and explore various historical, cultural, and natural sites across the country. You don’t need a computer or any knowledge of Zoom to enjoy – we can connect you from the computer in the library at Bugbee! We do get a limited number of “virtual seats” for participating at home, by yourself or with friends, for those of you who are comfortable with the computer. For more info or to sign up, please call 802-295-9068 or email info@bugbeecenter.org.
