Happy Holidays, Bugbee folks! We are excited for the Bugbee Holiday Craft Fair, Friday December 3 & Saturday December 4! This year we wanted to try bringing new people from the community together, so we’ll be welcoming local craft makers. December also means a holiday raffle! Prizes will be drawn every day. We also have bakers lined up for the Cookie Walk, plus tree decorating.
What are your plans for the holidays this year? Are they different from last year? For myself, I’m happy I will be able to see my family, since last year we had many more restrictions on travel due to the pandemic. Otherwise, I hope I can catch up on some cross country skiing, and of course probably eating more than I should—but what can be better than sharing meals with friends and loved ones.
Speaking of sharing meals, I wanted to take a moment to thank our kitchen staff! Some of you may have noticed last-minute menu changes this past month. Our food suppliers, like many other businesses, are experiencing disruption in the supply chain so we’re not always sure if food orders will be fulfilled as planned. Christy and her team have done a great job making sure we always have something tasty and nutritious, and we thank you for your patience!
Friendly reminder that the pandemic is still ongoing, please don’t forget to keep your mask on when visiting the Center, keep up-to-date with your immunizations, and wash your hands frequently. From all of us here at Bugbee, we’re wishing each of you a warm and joyous holiday season. Thank you for making this place fun and welcoming. Take care everyone!
