Embark on a digital storytelling adventure! On March 22, Junction Arts & Media (formerly CATV) will be launching a new, 12-week workshop for seniors (age 60+). Best part is: you don’t need to know anything about computers or digital art creation.
The folks from JAM will be joining us at the Bugbee Buzz Cafe on Thursday, March 7 at 10:30 to do a presentation about the workshop, and to help answer your questions.
Discover the art of digital creation with Junction Arts & Media’s new, 12-week workshop for seniors (age 60+). Artists-in-residence from JAM will welcome you to their studio space at the Briggs building in White River Junction. They will guide you through the fascinating world of digital media creation, sharing skills such as video production, camera work, story structure, editing, audio, social media content creation, and more. You will learn the tools you need to craft your own creative project, whether it’s a digital scrapbook, documentary video, an Instagram account you can share with your grandkids, your own podcast, or other tools empowering you to tell your own story! Bring your own project ideas, or be inspired to create something new through the process!
Fridays, 10:00-11:30 am. March 22 to May 24. This is a FREE 12-week workshop. Junction Arts & Media is accessible, and located at the Briggs Building, 5 South Main on the ground floor (the former Newbury Market). To sign up, call the front desk, 802-295-9068, or visit uvjam.org.
